Fresh from the airplane at the Odessa airport, this group is ready to show Jesus’ love to the young and the old.
Showing the love of Jesus to orphans and to the elderly is what this group from Ohio came to do. I met them at the Odessa airport earlier this week and they were ready to jump into the ministry.

Each day the team is traveling and visiting one or even two orphanages old people’s homes. Please pray for them as they have one more week of ministry. It’s hot here and they aren’t in air conditioned places, combined with all the travel to and from the various orphanages can make from some long tiring days.
I’m really grateful for the ministry of Oleg Shaykevych, he has a heart for orphans and the elderly.
Oleg Shaykevych is the initiator and organizer behind these trips. His goal is to bring the gospel to those the rest if the world has forgotten. In between these special trips with guests from the US his church “Skynia” works hard to keep regular contact with the children and the old people. I am glad that his church has taken up this important task, after all this is a problem the church of Jesus needs to tackle head on!
