Nechayenoe
This Sunday we visited Pastor Igor in the village of Nechayenoe about and hour out of Odessa. Igor also works as a regional director for our institute in Southern Ukraine where we have 4 of our local Bible schools.
Babushka and Dedushka
When we visited Christina’s parents in Cherkassy on Easter we left Noelle with them. She enjoyed being waited on hand and foot by her Ukrainian grandparents but after a month she was ready to come home.
Seeing Red
We woke up this morning to red ribbons tied to the door handles of very apartment in our section of the building.
Easter Eggs
Easter eggs or Pisanki are a very traditional Ukrainian art form. They are painstakingly made with layers of dye and wax.
Kirovograd
This past weekend Mishael and I traveled about 180 miles north of Odessa to visit a small church in the city of Kirovograd.
