General Updates

This week we held the annual conference for the Church Ministries Institute just outside of Kiev on the Dnieper river.

This year we opened a new local church centered Bible School in Kishinev, the capital of Moldova.

Yesterday and today we had our South Ukraine team meetings here in Odessa. It was a great time to fellowship with our team mates and strategize how to best promote a church planting movement in Ukraine!

This afternoon I was walking home with Naomi and Noelle. We were going past the new Orthodox cathedral they are building just a block from our house when we saw this priest blessing a new car.

Christina turns 30 today! Happy Birthday, Christina!

I spent the past week at a theological education conference just outside of Kiev. Schools from across the former Soviet Union were represented.

Shortly after we arrived in Odessa I was on my way down the stairs of our apartment building to take out the trash.

This weekend Christina and I traveled to Kiev for a distance education seminar. We had a great time meeting new people and finding out what is happening in distance ed.
