General Updates

There is no lack of people in Kiev. Every where you turn their are apartment buildings and more going up.

On Tuesday evening we went to a small group Bible study from New Birth Church.

Sergie is the Pastor of New Birth Church.

Tuesday morning we met with our team mate Scott Carter. He and his wife Lisa have been in Ukraine since 1993.

We spent most of last Monday on the train traveling from Kharkov to Kiev. The train was very modern and comfortable.

Kharkov is the Second largest city in Ukraine. We had a great view of the multitude of apartment buildings from the Ferrari’s house.

Sunday evening we went to the Lighthouse. This is an English speaking ministry in Kharkov

The Ferrrari’s van doubles as a classroom for new believers on Sunday morning! 

We also had an opputunity to speak to the Sunday School children at Gospel Life Church.



 

After communion they asked me to preach. The church is in the process of building and so far they have only the basement finished.

I haven’t been able to access my website since Saturday, so I am a little behind on my blog. Now I’ll be trying to catch up until today.

Today we took a look around Kharkiv with the Ferrari family.

I thought this was an interesting design for a kiosk!
