Is God’s will really the safest place you can be? If it’s not a safe place then how can you keep from worrying about your own safety?
In this episode of “Now Is the Time” I share with you a personal example from my life when I was very worried for my safety and I talk about what you can do to overcome worry and anxiety about your health and safety.

August 23, 2014Good stuff, Caleb. Praying for you and the mission. Next time your father in law offers to buy you a ride in a skimpy aircraft, I’d seriously reconsider!
Caleb
August 24, 2014It was a fun ride, but it was sure scary, I’ll at least fasten my seatbelt next time!

August 26, 2014At least it had seat belts! Half the cabs and other cars I came into contact with in Ukraine didn’t have functioning rear seat belts 😉

August 24, 2014It reminds me of the earlier church’s “diaspora”. Because of their persecution God’s kingdom grew and expanded to places that were untouched. One verse that helps encourage me is 1st Corinthians 10:13.

August 26, 2014So true David!

August 25, 2014Great stuff Caleb. And I really like the graphic. Very engaging. 🙂
Caleb
August 26, 2014Thanks Bryan! I took that picture on the Californian coast earlier this year. We went on an awesome hike through the Redwoods that came out on that beach.

August 29, 2014Awesome Caleb! I totally agree (and actually wrote a post about the same thing). God’s will isn’t the safest place to be – but it’s the best place.
Caleb
August 29, 2014That’s a good way to put it Dave.

September 9, 2014When I think of “safe” with regards to the Lord, I just think of being in His will – right where He wants me. “Whether we live or die it is to the LORD”.

September 9, 2014That’s a good way to think about it.
