Bethany Bible Missions Conference

By No tags 0

We spent October 1-8 with the wonderful people at Bethany Bible in Kenmore. We had the opportunity to speak there in July when Pastor Ritter was out of town. It was nice to really get to know people a bit better this time. It was also nice to be in the same church for two weeks in a row. Only a missionary can appreciate what that is like?

Christina and I were very pleasantly suprised with this missions conference. We started on Saturday with a youth event. They did something like “The Amazing Race” with the youth and they made the missionaries the drivers! Our team would have been first, but we took a wrong turn right at the end so we came in second. Christina did her best to keep up with everyone even though she is in her final month of pregnancy! She even participated in the tennis challenge and successfully volleyed the ball 10 times!

Below are pictures of Caleb playing bump at youth group during mid week. Thank you, Naomi for taking the pictures!

Pastor Ritter and his wife Jayne

Becky Davey is a missionary with Abwe. She was in Togo West Africa and is currently working with International Medical Ministries.

The Wests are retired missionaries from the field of Saint Vincent.

The Neufields are missionares to Togo West Africa. It was because of Tim Neufields advice that I went to Ukraine for the first time in 1994!

Now I am not sure who this family was? Really, this is us at the end of the conference, a little tired, but greatful for the oportunity. Bethany Bible surprised us at the end of the conference by sending us away with armfuls of gifts for Christina and I and the kids too!
