Ministry in Moldova
We started May by traveling to Faleshti,
Recently I asked you “What is missions?” and I received some great answers! Now I have another question for you.
Yesterday I ate my lunch with a bunch of dead people in Moldova.
Why?
Because that’s what everyone else was doing and I wanted to see how the people celebrate this holiday called “Pastele Blajinilor”.
Today Christina and I want to wish you a happy Resurrection Day! This morning we celebrated Easter at our home church Hope for People here in Odessa,
(This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to Elpida on winning the book! )
How do you define “Missions”?
I hope that you had a great Resurrection Sunday! We are still looking forward to celebrating the resurrection here in Ukraine on May 5th.
Tomorrow we were planning to pack the family in the van and head off to Western, Ukraine for a 3 day conference and now we are not!
Being flexible as a missionary is important. I can’t even count how many times I’ve been presented with an unexpected ministry opportunity and had to make an on the spot decision to jump in or not.
Spring is already here in Odessa, Ukraine. It marks the beginning of a new season and the beginning of a couple of new Bible Schools right here in Odessa!
In case you wondered what Christina does in her spare time when she’s not homeschooling 4 kids,
I want to introduce you to a new ministry in our church. The family ministry team started a few months ago and I’m really grateful for them.
Today we had the privilege of visiting Skiniya (Tabernacle) Church. This group of Jesus followers meets in a Christian bookstore in downtown Odessa.
