Easter eggs or Pisanki are a very traditional Ukrainian art form. They are painstakingly made with layers of dye and wax. However, we cheated a little and used these wonderful little plastic sleeves that shrink right onto the eggs when dipped in boiling water. The kids just loved it!
Pascha bread is also a traditional Ukrainian treat at Easter time.
