Христос воскрес, воистину воскрес! Christ is risen, He is risen indeed! I hope you had a great celebration of the resurrection of Jesus this month. I had the privilege of traveling to Cherkassy with my in-laws and spending Easter at House of Gospel Church. This year we celebrated Easter on April 15th, just one week after Western Easter. The day after Easter we also celebrated the 20th anniversary of House of Gospel. We are grateful for House of Gospel and the impact it has had on our lives and on many others.

Mayovka
Next month our church is planning a Mayovka; this is a picnic that traditionally happens in the first part of May as the weather warms up. We will be inviting many unchurched families from our English club outreach and spending all day with them in the forest just outside of Odessa. I will be speaking to the parents on the topic of family in the evening.

Spiritual Gifts
Every quarter our association of churches in South Ukraine holds and area wide brothers meeting. This is an all day Saturday event with lunch. We have held it at our church the last few times and there are usually over 100 men that show up from about 10 different churches. Our next meeting will be on May 12th and they have asked me to teach on the topic of Spiritual Gifts. This is a unique opportunity to effectively reach a larger group of churches and I am need of your prayers as I prepare!
- Pray that God would help me communicate the truth of His Word effectively

Good Soil in Odessa
May 26th and June 2nd we will be teaching the full Good Soil seminar here in Odessa. Originally this was planned for earlier in the month but do to some schedule conflicts we pushed it out a little bit. We need some help sponsoring this seminar. 25$ will provide training for one participant in this two day evangelism and discipleship seminar. You can give through ABWE here.
- Pray for that the seminar would be practical for all participants
- Pray that God would supply the funds needed for this seminar
Visas and Registration
Keeping up with changing laws can sometimes be difficult. Thankfully, I am now a permanent resident in Ukraine; however, many of our team mates are still struggling through the flood of paperwork and documents needed for the new registration process. Christina has also been helping them through this process. Please pray for our team mates, Holly, Miriam and the Phillips family, that they would secure the one year registration need.
- Pray for patience and wisdom in dealing with the paperwork
- Pray that the authorities would be helpful and understanding
- Pray that our missionary team would be able to get registered so they can focus on ministry
