Euro 2012 Update and More

The best thing about June for us was the celebration of our 15th wedding anniversary. Besides the gray hair God has also blessed us with five children and I am so thankful for my wife and my partner Christina, she has been a wonderful help to me over the past 15 years. I’ve learned a lot too, check out a few lessons that I learned over the past 15 years.

Euro 2012 Soccer Outreach
I asked you to pray for our Euro 2012 outreach this month and many of you responded saying that you were praying. Thank you! This was a unique project and something our students have never done. They were able to get the approval from the local government to set up a booth and run the outreach in the middle of the yard surrounded by a number of high-rise apartment buildings. During the day they had games and activities that brought out the children and their parents. They were able to interact with people and share with them about Jesus. In the evenings they set up a large-screen TV where people can come and watch the soccer games without alcohol in a safe atmosphere. This was all done with a local church which is literally a couple hundred yards away from where they held the outreach.

• Please pray that there will be results and that God would work in the hearts of the hundreds of people came by and participated.

Ordination at Hope For People
July 8th our church will be ordaining one man for the ministry of pastor. This is a very big thing for our church and for Mikhael who will be or ordained.

• Pray for the ordination of Mikhail at Hope for People Church.

Camp Season
Every church that we are working with is planning to have a camp. This it is not only a time for church members to enjoy fellowship but it is also a time for us to reach out to unbelievers. Our church will have family camp from July 19 to July 26. We are inviting many people from outside of the church to come so it’ll be a great opportunity to share God’s love.
