Give Back Friday

Over the past few years the Friday after Thanksgiving has come to be known as “Black Friday”. This term describes the chaos and madness of shoppers who show up in the wee hours of the morning to be the first to get their hands on marked down merchandise.

Let’s take a day full of greed and selfishness and turn it on its head. I like to call it “Give Back Friday”!

If you would like to help with any of the projects below we ask that you do 2 things:

Laptop computers for Bible school regional director

If you have a used laptop that is still in working order why not send it to Ukraine where it can be put to use by one of our Bible school regional directors? Currently we could use 3 laptops. You can either donate a used one or help us purchase a used one.

Meeting place for village church

Recently I looked out a house in a village about 100 miles outside of Odessa. It’s a 2 room house with a summer kitchen and a barn on about an acre of land. The believers want to buy it and use it for a meeting place for their small church but they can’t really afford it right now.

The house and land cost about 630$ They will also need to do some repair work, which will cost another 700$. That means a total of about 1330$ will provide a small church with a worship center on an acre of land right in the middle of town!

Special Thanksgiving gift

A special gift of any size can really help us cover ministry expenses this time of year. This will go towards some of the not so glamorous parts of the ministry like buying new tires for our van, covering travel to visit churches that are outside of Odessa, office supplies etc… It might not be glamorous but it sure is necessary so if you want to help just let me know!
