I’ve just finished my 7th grade year and I’m excited for summer break and 8th grade! I had a lot of changes this year because it’s my first grade in junior high. My book had a whole section in math on algebra. There was a literature book, too. I loved reading about how life was like long ago.
I like being home schooled, but I don’t get to see my friends all the time like I would if I went to school. On the other hand, I wouldn’t be open to a lot of the bad influences other children in public schools put out.
Now that I’m finished with school, I’ll probably have a double amount of chores because of all my free-time! That’s okay… I’ll have more time to write posts.
I hope everyone who is still studying will finish soon!

June 4, 2012Khan Academy is pretty interesting, I hadn’t heard of it before. Naomi is doing the online version from Abeka Academy http://www.abekaacademy.org/Homeschool/VideoOverview/StreamingOverview.aspx

June 4, 2012A Beka Academy seems really cool!
Khan Academy is definitely more secular.
