The kids have always wanted a pet, so here he is. We call him “Mr. Stubs” because of his stubby tail. He frequents our backyard just about everyday and the kids enjoy watching him search for worms and grubs in the lawn.
I found out that Opossums are North America’s only Marsupial (carrying their young in a pouch). They are also supposed to be nocturnal, however, Mr Stubs is usually out and about during daylight hours!
