Our last day in Greece we also had the chance of visiting the ancient city of Philippi. This was one of the major cities in Macedonia during Paul’s time (See Acts 16:11-39)
The place where Paul baptized Lydia, the first european convert.
The jail where Paul and Silas where placed until the earthquake freed them.
Behind me is the market place where Paul and Silas faced the authorities after being accused of “throwing the city into and uproar.” (Acts 16:19-21)
