Sleater-Kinney

By No tags 0

Yesterday I wasn’t too sure how I was going to make it on Sunday.  I was feeling quite sick and very achy.  I had no energy whatsoever.  However, it is a wonderful thing to know that people are praying for you.  We had really been looking forward to going to Sleater-Kinney Rd Baptist Church and I wasn’t about to let a little bug stop us.

Due to the fervent prayers of many I woke this morning feeling much better than I had on Saturday.  The Lord gave strength to both Christina and I to speak and to really share our hearts with God’s people.    What a tremendous response we received.  We were completely overwhelmed with how the Lord took our simple testimony and used it to touch the lives of people.

I was talking with Christina after the services.  I told her that sometimes I wonder if our testimonies are really that significant. I wonder if people are really interested to hear how the Lord has led us or to hear about our passion to minister in Ukraine.  Yet, the Lord always confirms that He can use us even when we are feeling a little sick and weak, even then the Lord can use us.  What a blessing to know that it is really not us but the Holy Spirit working in the lives of each individual.

A big “THANK YOU” to all who prayed for us!  Thank you for your love and concern.

    Prayer
God sure is an awesome God! I’ve seen many prayers answered and quickly.

I remember when my daughter was tiny and she had a bad cough. My pastor’s wife, at that time, prayed that God would help her to get well and stop her cough. Within minutes she stopped coughing and soon was well.

    Nothing is impossible with God!
