Your Book Suggestions for 2013

I need you to help me figure out what to read and what to review in 2013.  As a way of encouraging myself, and hopefully others, to read more in the New Year I decided to start including regular book reviews on the blog.

Below are a few books that I’ve read recently and one that I’m currently reading. I’ll be posting book reviews on these on Mondays.

You can help me in two ways:

1. Give me some suggestions for books to review

I’d really like to hear from you and know what you are thinking of reading.  You can simply leave your suggestions in the comments below. I read every comment and respond personally to most of them too!

2. Follow the links and buy some books for yourself

I almost exclusively buy my books on Amazon Kindle, which is really handy because I can get them instantly even though I live in Ukraine.  If you follow any of my links and purchase something Amazon gives me a small credit that I can use to buy more books! I have about 45 books on my wish list right now, but I don’t want to make our family broke on book purchases so your help is very appreciated.

Here’s what I’m planning to review over the next few weeks.

“Words From the Fire” -Al Mohler

“Reimaging Church” -Frank Viola

“Deep and Wide” -Andy Stanley

“Adventures in Churchland” -Dan Kimball

“Dug Down Deep” -Joshua Harris

Now it’s your turn! What are you planning to read in 2013? What other book suggestions do you have?

I plan on reading “Deep & Wide” this year. I really enjoy Andy’s writing style. I’m currently reading The Circle Makers by Mark Batterson which is an amazing book so far. I’m going to read a couple marriage books and at least one book about raising children(I have a 1 year old).

Dan, if you are going to read a book on parenting I recommend that you check out “Shepherding a Child’s Heart” by Tedd Tripp.
