What is Blagoveschenie? Literally it means “Annunciation” and it refers to the Angel Gabriel’s visit to Mary in Luke chapter 1.
It was nice to be in Cherkassy to celebrate this holiday with Christina’s home church. Even though I am not Ukrainian I consider Cherkassy to be my Ukrainian hometown. It is always pleasant to visit family here and a special blessing to visit our church, House of Gospel. Christina and her parents came to faith in Christ here back in the early 90’s. We are thankful that the church has grown since those early years and continues to faithfully preach the Gospel.
