May 20th our medical team visited the village of Lemani which is about 1.5 hours from Odessa on an estuary of the Black Sea.

May 19th our medical team visited the village of Sahanskoe which is about 2 hours from Odessa. This village has a small house church led by two men,

There are about 7 different villages in the Odessa area where our team ministers. It is a bit hard to visit some of the in the winter because of road conditions.

This past Sunday the church took about 30 kids to the zoo in Nickolaev, about 1.5 hrs from Odessa.

This is our Easter evening service at Hope for People in Odessa, Ukraine. The children’s choir performed as well as other numbers by children and a play.

Tonight our church is celebrating The Lord’s Supper before Easter. Christina and I decided to fast today in preparation for the evening service tonight.

Dear Friends, it’s April and I am in the city of Cherkassy, Christina’s hometown. I want to share with you a few updates and let you know what we are planning for this month.

What is Blagoveschenie? Literally it means “Annunciation” and it refers to the Angel Gabriel’s visit to Mary in Luke chapter 1.

Pray for this group of youth leaders from all over Ukraine. I presented the “Good Soil” seminars to them as means to strengthen their youth and increase the effectiveness of their outreach.

Today we visited our sister church, Tabernacle. It is located in a Christian book store in downtown Odessa.
