Russian Aggression and The Church of God in Ukraine

By No tags 0

Over 2 years ago Russia launched a full scale invasion of Ukraine, brutally murdering 10s of thousands of Ukrainians and destroying towns and cities. Unfortunately, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine has only increased in the past few months. Civilians in cities on the front lines like Kherson are constantly being shelled by artillery. Other cities like Kharkiv, Dniepro, and Odesa are regularly targeted with ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones resulting in many civilian casualties.

It’s hard to imagine what life is like for millions of Ukrainians who constantly live with Russian attacks, explosions, destruction, and bloodshed. Yet, in the middle of all this violence God is giving hope and true salvation as many churches faithfully minister to the needs of the Ukrainian people.

Caleb and Christina Suko are serving in Odesa, Ukraine. Through their ministry they provide aid to and preach the gospel to thousands of refugees. They also encourage and train church leaders in Biblical evangelism, providing them with much needed tools to reach Ukrainians with the Gospel. Despite the dangers God has opened the doors of opportunity for the Gospel in Ukraine!
Please pray for the Church in Ukraine, that God would protect His people and give them courage to share the Good News in bad times!
