#54 Forty Eight Hours of My Life

Want to know what life is like for me in Ukraine? In this episode of “Now Is the Time” I give you a peek into my life. Come along and listen to the sounds of Ukraine, as I travel to Kyiv and back to Odessa by train.

The Future of Theological Trainig

The main reason we went to Kyiv last week was to meet with representatives from Horizion International Schools. They specialize in online theological training and are literally helping dozens of schools all over the world to facilitate online training for their students.

Just one week from today we are launching our first completely online course and we couldn’t be more excited. If you know of any Russian speakers who might be interested in taking the course you can send them this link, “Principles of Bible Study” online Russian course.

If you’d like to know more details about our online training program and how you can help us make it available to the Russian speaking world, please send me a note and let me know.

Great sounds Caleb 🙂 The subway down, down, down in Kyiv is crazy. It reminds me of a different time. Thanks for peeling back the curtain on a real aspect of ministry in Ukraine – hours and travel.

I figured for those who have been there that those sounds would probably bring back a few memories. Thanks for listening David!

I feel like I just took a quick trip to Ukraine. That was great, Caleb. By the way the online Russian course you recommend in these show notes is really excellent. I think I like it better than Rosetta stone because you can see the spelling of the words (as well as hear them) and since I am more a visual learner, I like seeing exactly what the word looks like. Maybe part of that has to do with my hearing not being as acute as it should be :).

That’s awesome! I knew those sounds would be familiar.

Caleb, what I meant by the Russian course on-line was the one you recommended some time ago for learning Russian. It is a great course.
