I haven’t told many people this but about 13 years ago I saw Jesus in person and talked with him. In this episode of Now Is the Time I share with you that experience and describe for you some things about Jesus that I’m sure you didn’t know before.

Coming up
This month will be one of my most busiest speaking months so I really appreciate your prayers for me as I prepare for several conferences and seminars.
- March 11 -Expository preaching seminar in Nickolaev.
- March 14-16 -Conference in Eastern Ukraine training on how to minister to people from war zone with PTSD -Retired army chaplain Bill Barko will be speaking.
- March 18 -Youth conference on sexual purity.
- March 25th -Conference on how to share the gospel in the context of your family.
Why gospel and family?
I’m looking for several sponsors who can help us with the purchase of books and hosting the family conference at the end of the month. The reason we decided to focus on sharing the gospel in the context of family is because we noticed how often it’s easier for people to share the gospel with a stranger than it is for them to share it with a close family member. We will be speaking directly to the issues that make it difficult to share the gospel with someone who is close to you. This includes, sharing the gospel in marriage, sharing the gospel with parents, sharing the gospel with children.
We could use your help
We are purchasing 165 copies of Paul Washer’s book “The Gospel Call and Conversion” this book was recently translated into Russian and does a good job of explaining some of the basics of what the gospel really looks like and how true repentance and conversion look like in the life of a believer.
You can give through our mission here if you’d like to help us with the purchase of these books and the cost of hosting the conference.
Worldview noise
In this episode I talk about the problem of worldview noise when sharing the gospel. Below is a graphic from that illustrates this issue. This graphic comes from our Good Soil seminars that we lead here in Ukraine. You can check out Goodsoil.com for a little more information.

March 7, 2017Great pod cast and examples of how Jesus used various ways to share the Good News to people with different world views.
Not everyone thinks like us, we must be aware of the differences between cultures and belief systems that influence how people comprehend who Christ is.

March 7, 2017Yes, living in a foreign country probably makes me for aware of these things, but the USA is so multi-cultural we can’t afford not to think about worldview when sharing the Gospel.

March 8, 2017Yes, the US is multicultural and there seems to be an ever increasing divide between conservative and liberal. I have two very close friends who are atheist and extremely liberal, despite these difference we have learned to communicate and we actually have many things in common. I think if more people could learn to better communicate and understand others with different beliefs we could come to more agreements regarding our nation instead of always being on opposing sides. Seeking to love others instead of trying to prove we are “right” could build many bridges. Jesus had a way of extending love and truth without trying to push people into believing in Him. Much we can learn from our Savior.
